I am a National Geographic Magazine photographer specialising in issues concerning conservation, natural history and anthropology. I hope you enjoy wandering around this site.
Exhibitions, appearances, talks, adventures, articles, cameras, reviews, kit and anything I love to do with photography, conservation and world.
Check out National Geographic Magazines top picks for 2016. Chosen from 91 photographers, 107 stories and a whopping 2,290,225 images - these were the picture editors favourite shots. There might even be a one or two vultures in there - that's because vultures are damn cool birds.
I will be speaking live at Murial Kauffman Theatre on the 7th February 2017. Looking forward to my first trip to Kansas. The subject is 'I Bought a Rainforest' and details my travels and photography in the Amazon. Travels in Africa and Yellowstone also feature. It's great fun - come along
I will be speaking at INB Performing Arts Center on April 26th 2017. We'll go on a journey deep into the Amazon to see incredible wildlife and hear some of the stories of my misadventures. We'll also travel through Africa and Yellowstone National Park.
